Merino wool comes from Merino sheep, known for their incredibly fine and soft fleece. Unlike traditional wool, which can sometimes feel itchy or coarse, merino feels gentle against the skin, even for those with sensitivities or allergies. It’s the kind of fabric you want to wear every day in the cooler seasons.
What really fascinates me about merino is how smart it is. It naturally traps air between its fibres, creating a thermal buffer that keeps you warm when it’s cold and surprisingly cool when the weather is mild. And it manages moisture like a dream — wicking sweat away, letting your skin breathe, and drying quickly so you never feel clammy. On top of that, merino is odour-resistant, meaning your garments stay fresh wear after wear, perfect for busy days or travel.
